HUMAN
HUMAN is a network for human connection, with AI in the supporting role.
The consumer product from HUTE, in development. Its job is to help real people find and keep real relationships.
Status, stated plainly: HUMAN is in development. This site does not announce a public release, user numbers or a launch date, and the capabilities below are described as product direction, not as live features. We would rather you read an honest status than a confident brochure.
HUMAN is the first consumer product from HUTE. HUTE is the research company; HUMAN is where that research is meant to become useful to ordinary people. The product is designed around one idea: AI should help people connect with each other, not stand in for each other.
The idea
Our shorthand is an on-demand network for human connection. It borrows the immediacy of an on-demand service: say what you are looking for and be introduced to people who are nearby, relevant and willing. It does not treat friendship as something to be bought, and it is not a feed. Every introduction needs a yes from both sides.
What HUMAN is designed to do
| Capability | What it means | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Find and meet the right people | Discover people who have chosen to be discoverable, request an introduction, and meet only after mutual acceptance | In development |
| Communications handled | Understand messages, drafts and follow-ups across connected channels, and act only with the permissions you have given | In development |
| Relationships managed | A private, permissioned memory of the people in your life: context, promises, dates, follow-ups | In development |
| Network on autopilot | Suggested introductions toward goals you state, respecting do-not-contact preferences | Planned |
| Tasks done | Turn actionable messages into completed tasks, with approval before anything irreversible | Planned |
| Personal AI twin | A permissioned assistant that can represent you within limits you set and always says it is an AI | Research and design |
Which channels HUMAN can connect to depends on what each provider permits; we will not describe a connection as available until it has been verified and permitted by that provider.
How HUMAN differs from adjacent products
- Not a social feed. No follower counts, no engagement game.
- Not a dating app. Romantic connection is one possible purpose among friendship, collaboration, mentoring and community.
- Not an AI companion. HUMAN is designed to help you with people, not to be the person. Interview research with users of a companion chatbot documents how such relationships develop [1]; our position is that AI should support human relationships rather than replace them.
- Not a data business. Your private messages, contacts, memories, recordings and location are not training data for HUTE or anyone else without separate, explicit consent. See Responsible AI.
Why research sits underneath it
A product that mediates between people needs systems that understand people: who knows what, what is implied, what a person would want to stay private, and when to ask before acting. Those are the questions studied in the HUTE AI Research Lab, and they are why we publish how we evaluate them. MARKET
Inside HUMAN, we plan an economic layer called MARKET, where individuals and businesses can offer services, hire people and deploy AI helpers, and where people who need practical help can find someone willing to give it. It is a plan, not a product that has launched. Work and earning also appear on the other side of HUTE: Intelligence Infrastructure is designed to pay experts and consenting contributors fairly.
